Every 15 minutes someone is killed or seriously injured in a drunk driving related incident. this program has completely opened my eyes. I have now realized how short life is. we all need to cherish it and live today like it’s our last. being one of the crash kids was an honor, I feel like it finally clicked in my mind that this could happen to me… at one point the crash felt so real. I actually started to feel real pain, I started to think the blood on my shirt was my own, I started to think alma was really dead and Everlynn was stuck in the car and dying slowly,
at one point I felt like everything was my fault because I let Holly drive knowing she was under the influence. it all felt so real. this event has changed my life forever. Thank you to my mom, Mrs. Rivera, Mr. Castanon, and everyone else involved in picking the students for the crash, it has truly changed my life forever. #Every15Minutes
